Yes. Every tool is free. Ads pay for the app: a banner on the tool screens and a full-screen ad now and then. The Extreme compression level asks you to watch one short ad first.

Yes. Every tool runs on your phone. A connection is only needed so the ads can load.

Your files are processed on your phone and are never sent to us. The app only opens the files you pick. The privacy policy explains what AdMob collects for ads.

Compress turns each page into a smaller picture, which is how it saves space. The result looks the same but its text cannot be selected or searched. Merge and split keep the original pages exactly as they are. If a file cannot be made smaller, the app keeps your original.

PDF Toolkit runs on Android 7.0 or newer. It is an Android app, so there is no iPhone version.

Merge and split cannot open a PDF that has a password. Remove the password in the app that made the file, then try again.

PDF Toolkit is in a closed beta on Google Play before its public release. Email us your Gmail address and we will add you as a tester. Then tap Join the beta on Google Play, sign in with that Google account, tap Become a tester, and install it.
